WIPocalpse August #2

No pictures but I have picked up the needle a few times...most recent for a friend's project. I am in the middle of classes but I'm trying to pick up the needle again in the midst of job hunting and a few other things.

Sorry I haven't been around

Life after February or March got way out of whack and it has taken this long to get back in somewhat a state of balance. I haven't picked up a needle since about mid March. I plan to pick it up again here over the next couple of weeks and over the olympics. I'll probably do a few sprints since I have a couple that are close and then I plan to pull out a big piece I think and go back and frog it because I'm off just like 5 stitches but I can't fudge it to make it work. It is a huge piece that I plan to give away to my parents but I might stitch it again myself because I like it so much and I have a similar piece that matches out that I plan to do. Anyway no pics since I haven't touched it but will get ones in a bit once I add more.

April Check in

Well a month has gone by and I haven't had the chance to really pick-up a needle. I have been reading fan fics, classwork and dealing with getting a new job and other family life so the March check in is where I stand right now. I hope to try to pick up a needle again soon, but this class is requiring a lot of time reading, posting and projects.

February WIPocalypse sign in

I have had a busy few days so I couldn't put this in on exact day. Class has gotten going fast and furious so not much stitching in the past few days to a week. Also my birthday and my father's birthdays have happened in the past few days so we did a few special things this weekend. Anyway....here is L*K ABC Christmas...close but not down to the white yet. Also since like the 9th...I started another kind of quick project for my kiddo as she's a HUGE Dr. Who fan.

Wipocalypse - January Full moon post

After the weekend and about 4-9 hours over that time..mostly interupted; here is the progress made on L*K ABC Christmas. I am starting an online class to upgrade my skills for my career to get better employment in the next week so time may be limited for the next 8 weeks. I'd like to get this done and go work on the 2 other projects on my list and I have several other "Christmasy" pieces and such that are maybe making a calling to me.

1st project start point

This is where I'm picking up L*K ABC Christmas after stitching a bunch right before the new year. I hope this will be done by the end of the month in between working (temp now and hopefully permanent soon) and my 8 week online class starting soon ( next week). Sorry the pattern picture is so blurry but if you really are curious go to your favorite online shop and look it up.

I'll try to get pics up here shortly in the next day or so. I found another piece that I plan to add to this count down. It is Simply Welcome by Waxing Moon Designs. I had most of the welcome done but the pineapples and the heart and other embellishments to the welcome still need to be done. It should be another piece that shouldn't take too long tho the fabric isn't my favorite.

Starting Post and List

I saw this post on our CSC board and with a gal of the handle "measi" who came up with this idea to kill of WIPs in stitching. Now for a gal with a chronic case of startitis and lots of projects going, maybe this will get and keep my mojo going.

So to start, here are my first 2 projects which will have pictures attached later.

L*K Christmas and Apache Wedding Blessing.

L*K Christmas will be good because it is at least 75% done and give a nice start to the accomplishment of knocking out projects.
